ShowSuite — 360° Render-Set Export Contract (for the 3D artist)

ShowSuite · VBSS — what to deliver so a home becomes an interactive spin-and-recolour configurator. Version 1 · one page, everything matters.

What you deliver (per home)

1 · Beauty frames	36 renders orbiting the home (one every 10°, frame 0 = front). PNG or high-quality JPG, 1600×1000 or larger, same resolution every frame. Neutral/clean background (plain sky or white) — no people, cars, text, watermarks or vignettes. Natural daylight; whatever engine you like (V-Ray, Corona, Arnold, Scanline).
2 · Part-ID frames	The same 36 camera positions, but every part rendered as ONE flat, self-illuminated colour (no lighting, no shadows, no GI). Background pure black (0,0,0). PNG only — never JPG. In Max: assign a self-illum material per part, or use the Material-ID render element.
3 · Colour legend	The table below, filled in: which flat colour you used for which part. Any distinct colours are fine — we remap them automatically.
4 · Source files (optional, valuable)	The `.max` scene, and if easy, a `glTF/GLB` export with one named material per part — that unlocks our future free-orbit 3D viewer with no extra work from you.

2 · Part-ID frames

The same 36 camera positions, but every part rendered as ONE flat, self-illuminated colour (no lighting, no shadows, no GI). Background pure black (0,0,0). PNG only — never JPG. In Max: assign a self-illum material per part, or use the Material-ID render element.

3 · Colour legend

The table below, filled in: which flat colour you used for which part. Any distinct colours are fine — we remap them automatically.

4 · Source files (optional, valuable)

The .max scene, and if easy, a glTF/GLB export with one named material per part — that unlocks our future free-orbit 3D viewer with no extra work from you.

Four things that cannot be fixed after rendering — please double-check:

Anti-aliasing OFF on the ID frames. Edge pixels must be exactly one part's colour, never a blend. (Beauty frames: AA on, as normal.)
Identical camera + resolution for beauty and ID frames. Same orbit, same frame numbers, pixel-for-pixel aligned.
One material per part, consistent across all 36 frames. The left siding and the right siding are the same "Main Siding" part everywhere.
Neutral MID-TONE albedo on every recolourable part (≈45–55% grey, no strong colour cast). Our engine keeps your lighting and drapes the buyer's colour over it — a mid-tone surface can honestly take any vendor colour, light or dark. A near-black surface can only ever take dark colours (there is no light left to reveal a pale one), and that cannot be recovered later. Bake darkness only into parts that are never repainted light.

Naming & hand-off

Reference: colours & materials the buyer will apply

You do not bake buyer colours into the beauty render — keep the home in a neutral mid-tone scheme (≈45–55% grey/greige per the rule above). The buyer picks from the builder's real colour book (e.g. Royal Colorscapes, IKO, Centurion) inside ShowSuite; our engine recolours your beauty frames live, preserving your lighting. ShowSuite also scopes colours per surface and per community guideline (a roof is only ever offered its approved shingle colours), so the mid-tone rule is what keeps every offered colour honest on screen.
